Bentonite Clay can be used both internally and externally to assist in detoxification due to its alkaline pH and high negative ionic charge. Every cell in our body excretes waste material, which becomes toxic to our bodies if it can not be eliminated or filtered out of the body. The most common symptoms of toxic buildup within the body are: – mental dullness, – aching stiff joints, – gas and bloating, – high acidity, – digestive problems – acid reflux and fatigue Crush the bentonite clay into a powder and use in a number of ways:
For internal use, mix 1 to 2 teaspoons in at least 1 cup of purified water. Drink the mixture and follow with at least another 2 cups of pure water. It has been found useful to add fibre to this process to help move the clay along through the digestive tract. For external use, mix 1 to 2 tablespoons in a bowl with water (best to sprinkle the powder onto the water and mix to a muddy consistency). Apply to face and body and allow to dry at least 15 minutes then wash off and feel fantastic. Soak in a bentonite clay bath for a full body detox. 1- 4 cups per bath, soaking for no longer than 20 minutes should do the trick. Try a foot bath or use as a poultice for skin conditions.
There are many more uses of Bentonite clay and we urge you to do your own research and take responsibility for your own health. The above suggestions are based on our research and are for education purposes only. In no way do we offer this as medical advice nor direction for your personal health program.
