"Love them! I had never heard of soap nuts, I saw them on the 'shop ethical' app, so I googled them and decided to get a 100gm bag to try last week. I thought I'd test out how good they are on my husbands work clothes (he's a chef, his clothes are always fatty and smelly) after we took his clothes off the clothes line there was no greasy smell, so then I washed our bedding-including pillows. I was sold, my pillows smelt clean but not a chemically fragrance. I've just purchased a 1kilo bag!! Thanks!!"

"I received a sample of soap nuts in my nativebox and will be making a purchase in the near future. A pharmacy I was in recommended clove oil for mould. I've added clove oil to the simmering soap nut water. and will add a few more drops when it has cooled. The added advantage is that my house smells wonderful from the simmering process.
I also add Sorbolene to the liquid for a moisturising hand wash.

"I have been using soap nuts for at least 4 weeks and I am spellbound. My hair has never been in such great condition even so I used only natural shampoo from Dottera. I always had to use conditioner after I washed my hair, I could not get a comb through. But now my hair situation changed using soap nuts my fine hair is manageable no conditioner needed. Plus I don’t need to wash my hair every day as I simply use a little bit of the soap nut liquid and put it through hair. My hair is shinny, bouncy and even shows signs of a natural wave. I am so happy with this product. I also made cleaning solutions and glass cleaner. I am flabbergasted. I will google for more options using this fabulous product."

"I am a mother of 3 and have recently discovered the joys of Soap Nuts. So far I have been boiling up my soap nuts and freezing them as ice cubes, but I have been stingy with the ratio of nuts to water therefore my liquid has not been strong. Now that I have the ratio of 100 grams to 3 litres of water the liquid is dynamite.
I pour it into the glad freezer cube trays and just pop them out into an old ice cream container when ready. I make sure that I strain them finley first before I freeze the liquid. I blend the nuts with a stick blender and squeeze the pulp to get out every last drop.
I have made so far, all purpose cleaner spray, front loader liquid, caterpillar spray, dishwasher tablets using the liquid instead of vinegar, a floor cleaner solution and a shampoo, still trying to iron out the bumps.
I have cleaned out my home completely of all purchased cleaners, from the kitchen right through to my own toothpaste and deodorant."

"I have 5 boys so I have a lot of laundry. I usually wash their clothes 2 days (Monday and Thursday) a week. I have 5 baskets that we use for clean clothes only. As I get clean clothes out of the dryer, I fold them and put them in each boys' basket. Then the boys are responsible for putting their own clothes up--even the 2 1/2 year old! I love this washing machine. I have noticed that people are saying you have to pretreat stains if you use soapnuts but frankly as an adult, most of the clothes I wash just need to be "refreshed" from body odor but there is rarely any actual "dirt," so I think soapnuts are perfect for me. Love the packaging, purity, lack of waste. Wonderful.

"Sindhiya soapnuts are brilliant. Our dog ran through sump oil on weekend and got goo all over his feet. As he has sensitive skin I tried liquid on a cloth which took some off then I put some decoction in dish and soaked his feet for a few minutes - result after two lots of soaking was clean feet!

"We are currently living at my husbands workplace which is a lime plant and are on bore water which is very hard and its great not to have to add heaps of fabric softener and other additives to our washing and know that they will be clean and soft when washed. I have also found that old oil stains are starting to lift out of Merv’s work clothes.
I have a front loader which cannot be opened during wash cycle so work clothes get prewash, wash & rinse with SoapNuts and I still can get another two – three washes from the same batch. I discard when Nuts have gone soft and smooth to touch."
